These docs are in English.

Connect Bing Webmaster Tools for each brand from Integrations in Settings, on the same block as the Google cards. Settings shows one brand's integrations at a time, so switch brand to connect another. The card says See whether Bing has the pages AI assistants read and cite. ChatGPT's search draws on Bing.

The connection is read-only. It is on paid plans: on Free, and when your workspace is not offered Bing Webmaster Tools yet, Settings shows no card. When the connection cannot be started, the card says Not available yet. and has no button.

Connect and choose a site

  1. Open Settings and the Integrations section.
  2. Under the brand, choose Connect Bing Webmaster Tools.
  3. Finish Microsoft's sign-in. Knownwise asks for read-only access to Bing Webmaster Tools.
  4. When the card says Choose the Bing site for the brand, pick the site and choose Connect site. Sites for this brand's host are listed first. A site for another host, and a site marked (unverified), cannot be chosen.

If loading fails, the card says Could not load sites from Bing. Use Try again. If the account has no verified site for this host, it says This Bing account has no verified site for the host. Add and verify it in Bing Webmaster Tools, then come back. Open Bing Webmaster Tools leaves Knownwise; Try again reloads the list.

If sign-in does not finish, Settings says Bing didn't finish connecting. Choose Connect Bing Webmaster Tools to try again.

After a site is connected, Settings says Bing Webmaster Tools connected. Open the brand overview on that banner opens the brand's AI bots page.

While connected

An active card shows Site and the site address, and a sync indicator. Once at least one page has been checked, and the last sync did not fail, it also shows how the index check is going:

  • Checking that many pages in Bing's index. When some are not indexed, it adds how many aren't indexed.
  • When every checked page is indexed, the card stops after Checking that many pages in Bing's index.

The check covers up to 100 of the brand's key pages: the home page, pages a merged fix changed, pages AI answers cited, pages AI bots read, and pages Search Console already shows. Files (robots.txt, a sitemap, images), API routes and one person's own pages (an address with an id in it) are left out. Pages beyond that are not checked. The same check fills In Bing on AI bots.

Choosing a different site clears this brand's earlier Bing results and checks the pages again.

Revoke access stops Knownwise using the site. The card also says Revoke access only stops Knownwise using this site. To remove the app's access, remove Knownwise in Bing Webmaster Tools too. Open Bing Webmaster Tools is the link.

If access was Revoked or the connection is in error, use Reconnect. If a save fails, the card says Could not save this connection. Try again.

Where it shows

In Bing on AI bots is this connection. A ChatGPT answer that does not name you can point at pages Bing has not indexed. See Prompts. Pages still missing become rows on Opportunities, including Send to Bing.

Search Console's own index line is on Google Analytics and Search Console.
